A song a day keeps the doctor away

I love music, so much that I work in the music industry. I married a songwriter & most of my friends are in the biz or have been in the biz. One morning as I was driving to work I thought that it would be fun (for me at least) to pick a song each day to share to the world & explain why I chose it. These songs are just songs that make me happy for one reason or another and my simple opinion. Who knows maybe I'll introduce you to something new that you love. I hope so. Thanks!

Song #57: Piano Man by Billy Joel

Isn't it funny when you've heard a song for years and loved a song for years, and you hear it one day and hear a lyric that you've never really paid attention to and realize how amazingly brilliant it is? That's what happened to me tonight when I heard "Piano Man" by Billy Joel. "They're sharing a drink they call loneliness but it's better than drinking alone." WOW, that is awesome! He's got to be one of the best storyteller songwriters of all time.
